A peek round the back of the Aldi store
HGV access to the rear of the supermarket and the adjoining home improvements store (Aldi and Wickes respectively) which now occupy the land on Snedshill that was once home to the Lilleshall Company.

Snedshill Factory Site
This site was cleared in 2008 for erection of a hardware store. The location of the old Snedshill Brick Works lies under the pile of broken brick. The building in geographs Image, Image and Image Image has gone. In the background: Central Park, and behind it, Telford Town Centre. On the skyline, an isolated chimney: Stirchley Stack.

Lilleshall Co's Brick & Tile factory, Snedshill, Oakengates
The Tile & Brick factory building belonging to the mighty Lilleshall Co. Ltd. Once one of the Midland's largest engineering companies with interests in mining, iron & steel production and hundreds of associated activities.
Now all gone, the building is seen here in 1995 being used by many small industrial ventures.
Note the ornate chimneys, local landmarks for many years.

Fire Ravished former Lilleshall Factory at Snedshill, Oakengates
In December 2005 a massive fire totally destroyed all of the former Lilleshall Co's brick & tile factory. The site was cleared and lay empty for four years.
