Rebuilding M54
Attempts to just resurface this road had proved to be a waste of time and the whole carriageway needed to be dug out and re-built. This section from junction 5 Westwards was done in 1997 by Shropshire County Council on behalf of the Highways Agency, much to the relief of the long suffering motorist. Image
