New housing at Haughton
Shifnal is expanding rapidly at the present time; a number of large new housing estates have recently been built on the eastern and south-eastern side of the town. Now Bovis Homes and TaylorWimpey are developing the Burlington Fields estate here on the north side, infilling green fields up to the motorway.
