The truncated northern end of Newport Road
Once the main road north out of Shifnal to the point where Image and onwards to Newport; it was cut off and replaced by the construction of the M54 in the early 1980s. The line of the new road has moved slightly to the west, and was dropped into a cutting in order to allow the M54 to overbridge it Image
