Hawick in the Scottish Borders
Hawick sits in the valley of the River Teviot and is the largest town in the Scottish Borders. The town is famous for textiles although this industry has been in decline for several years. The Miller’s Knowes area is popular with walkers and is a fine viewpoint. A walker and dog are in the foreground.

Mound at the junction
