Waverley Walk Skate Facility
A skate park lying within a broad green belt along the line of the old "Waverley" line from Carlisle to Edinburgh.

Abandoned flats, Mansfield Gardens
Built in the 1970s, these flats started to be abandoned around 2002 and have become an eyesore for residents of this part of Hawick. The flats are liable to flooding - and have been a few times - which is probably partly why they are abandoned. As of 2010, the local housing association has no plans for demolition or redevelopment of these flats.

Footpath from Teviotdale Leisure Centre, Hawick
The path follows the route of the former Waverley Line as the Leisure Centre was built on the site of the railway station. On the left is a small skateboard area with a children's playground further along.

Evening over Mansfield
