The Woodburn
This small stream, a burn in Scotland, passes right by our holiday cottage. There are Grey Wagtail and many other birds feeding and drinking by the banks of the burn.

Heather on Muselee Hill
The hills to the north of the Chapel Hill road are mostly improved grassland, but to the south, although there are still cattle grazing, the land is heather covered moorland. Looking into the sun, which has sneaked through a gap between my fingers on a fine evening at the back end of summer.
