The Bill McLaren bust in Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick
This bronze bust of the late rugby commentator Bill McLaren was unveiled in his home town of Hawick on Tuesday 19th February 2013 by his widow Bette McLaren. The project was organised by Hawick Community Council and funded through public subscriptions and grants. Beltane Studios of Peebles sculpted the bust and local builders constructed the plinth. The people who viewed the bust as I was taking photographs all remarked how lifelike it was. For a close up view of the bust, see Image
