Albert Road from Silver Street
The gentleman crossing the road is not thinking about the Green Cross Code - not only is he not looking in the direction of approaching traffic, but he has not chosen the safest place to cross.
In spite of this, I'm happy to report that he made it over the road safely.

The High Street enters this view on the left. The road curving to the right is Tower Knowe. The building is the Borders Textile Towerhouse, currently home to a free to enter textiles, tweed and knitwear museum.
