Ancrum Village Green
A Guy Fawkes bonfire is taking shape on the green. Surprising, considering the health and safety regime prevalent in the country nowadays. In my home town in the 1960s the rival areas all had their own bonfire and I remember the fun involved in collecting bonfire material for November 5th.
