A Hercules in the Selkirk to Moffat valley
This military aircraft was flying low over Muchra as it banked around Paper Hill. The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is a four-engine turboprop transport aircraft.

From this point the Little Yarrow flows north until it enters the Loch of the Lowes, the small loch just to the south of the much more famous St Mary's Loch.

The Little Yarrow at Muchra
This is the name of the stream that flows by the A708 on its way to the Loch of the Lowes. Muchra lies between Paper Hill on the left and Muchra Hill on the right. A plantation at March Sike in the background has been clear felled.
