Kelso Branch Railway
The trackbed of the Kelso Branch Railway is intermittently open as a path (much of its course is unfortunately subject to English Law.) This stretch from Kelso to Sprouston is one of those happy rarities, a wild but unblocked disused railway. There is no evidence of wide tarred paths or bushes cut back, it is a woodland where we are tolerated, not masters.
