Floors Castle
A view of the castle over the River Tweed from the southwest end of the site of Roxburgh Castle. Floors Castle (1721-6) was designed by William Adam and altered to its present appearance by W.H. Playfair from 1837-47. It is the largest inhabited castle in Scotland and is home to the Duke and Duchess of Roxburghe. For more information see - www.floorscastle.com

Floors Castle is the ancestral home of the Dukes of Roxburghshire, south-east Scotland, is the seat of the Duke of Roxburghe. The castle was built in the 1720s by the architect William Adam.
