New Fishing Museum Kelso
This newly opened museum celebrates the borders salmon fishing heritage and is located in the Town Hall in the Square, Kelso. It hopes to "hook" 10,000 visitors per year. Entry is free and inside are over 1500 artefacts and documents with a mock interior of a River Tweed fishing bothy to recreate a scene from a century ago. It tells the story of rod and line salmon fishing techniques which were developed on the Tweed.

New Fishing Museum in The Square Kelso
It is hoped that visitors to Kelso will be "hooked" by this newly opened fishing museum. This museum tells the story of the Borders salmon fishing heritage and celebrates the role that the River Tweed and the town of Kelso played in its development. Inside is a display of more than 1500 artefacts and a mock interior of a fishing bothy.
