The Turfford Burn flowing through Earlston
Rising only a few miles to the east at Fans Loanhead, the burn drains in to the nearby Leader Water. To the right background is the now closed old Earlston High School while even further right is the primary school.

On the minor road to Georgefield. The footbridge looks recent, and was probably built to improve pedestrian access to the new High School a short way back up this road.
