Former Village School in Gordon Berwickshire
Now painted an eye catching red, this was formerly the village school. It has been transformed into residential use and now offers Bed and Breakfast at reasonable prices with breakfasts cooked to order. It stands beside the old school house and is opposite Gordon Kirkyard.

Gordon: St Michael's Kirk and graveyard

The A6105 through Gordon
A burst of late afternoon sunshine against a dark sky has highlighted the former Old Free Church at the east end of the village. The church was built in 1843 and a clock tower and bell-turret was added in 1893. The building has been converted into a dwelling house.

The clock tower at the former Old Free Church, Gordon
This is a close up of the clock tower that was constructed in 1893 as an addition to the original church that was built in 1843. There are four clock faces, to north, south, east and west. The left clock is west facing and the right one is south facing. The former church is now a dwelling house. For a full view of the tower, see Image
