Lane near Kentstone
This lane cuts across the north east corner of the square. The farm in the distance is Kentstone, in the adjacent square. The roadside hedges around this part of Northumberland are very neatly trimmed, as this view illustrates.

Thrumblehill Wood
Disguising former Kyloe Quarry where whinstone was extracted until about 50 years ago. The site now owned by the Ford and Etal Estate.
