Berwick War Memorial
Dedicated to the residents of Berwick on Tweed who were killed or missing in both First and Second World Wars. This was sculpted by Alexander Carrick who served in the Royal Artillery during WW1. This statue is not an angel but the Greek goddess of victory, Athene Nike.The figure was modelled on a WW1 Nurse and physiotherapist called Miss Hunt.

Former St Mary's Church, Berwick
The Early English style church with its "space rocket" spire was built in 1858 and was once famed as the most northerly church in England. Now converted to an adult education centre and Grade-II listed (ref. 1371252): https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101371252. In front of the church is Berwick war memorial.
