A Zebra in Marygate Berwick-upon-Tweed
This zebra has also been decorated with red and blue ribbons to celebrate the Riding of the Bounds held in May. He stands outside the newly opened coffee shop The Northern Edge.

Fifteen minutes after the Olympic torch relay passed through the town the council are already cleaning up, the crowds have dispersed and traffic has returned to normal.

Marygate, Berwick-upon-Tweed
Standing commandingly in the middle of the roadway facing West along Marygate is the Town Hall, a Grade I listed building. Built in the mid 1700's, the upper floor once housed the town gaol.
