Waverley Line, Tweedbank
At this time it was a cycle path (National Cycle Network Route 1). It should by now be a railway to Edinburgh again, but delays kept putting back the work and now there are probably no longer funds available.

Tweedbank railway station
Built on the route of the mid-nineteenth century 'Waverley Route' line, which originally ran from Edinburgh to Carlisle, but was closed in 1969. The line as far as Tweedbank was re-opened in 2015. The car park (FREE PARKING! - this must be Scotland) was full, presumably with commuters to Edinburgh.
