Ruins of the Bishops' Palace at Stow
The early 16th. century 'palace' or manor was built to house the Bishop of St. Andrews when visiting this part of his diocese. The building, in Kirk Wynd, was reached by a gate in the south-east corner of old Stow churchyard.

Stow Old Parish Church
A late 15th century ashlar oblong kirk repaired in the 17th century when the south aisle was added, but now an ivy-clad ruin. There are records of various alterations and works between 1661 and 1794. (Source: Pevsner Architectural Guides - Borders).
