Lennel
This hamlet lies just outside Coldstream and slopes down towards the river Tweed and therefore the Border between Scotland and England. The village used to lie to the east of this spot in a more exposed position but due to cross border conflict that site was abandoned and the village as we see it today was built. All that remains of the old village is the ruins of Lennel Church at GR:NT857411
