Railway bridge at Wheatlands Road, Galashiels
One of 42 new bridges built for the Borders Railway between Edinburgh Waverley and Tweedbank. It is finished in the town colour of 'Gala Maroon', as were all the new railway bridges in Galashiels. In the background is the footbridge from Plumtreehall Brae.

Across The Gala Water Valley
Looking across the valley of the Gala Water from Woodside Drive. The new houses in the foreground are in Lee Brae. The buildings on the other side of the river are in Bristol Terrace, which is part of the A7 road. These buildings include housing and former woollen mills. Buckholm Hill is in the background.
