Welcome Sign at Chirnside, home of Jim Clark OBE
Jim Clark 1936-1968 was raised on the family farm near here in the Scottish Borders. He became a World Champion racing driver but was tragically killed in a race at Hockenheim Germany. He was buried here at Chirnside Cemetery, a quiet unassuming champion, loved and remembered by a great many. https://www.formula1.com/en/information/drivers-hall-of-fame-jim-clark.2xXQsIYM7LBHJrP4Gw6rRD
