The Church of Our Lady and St. Margaret at Duns
It's a pity there was something happening in the church and the cars block the view a little but there is no hiding the charm of the old building.

Footpath along disused railway at Duns
This line ran between Duns and Earlston then on to St Boswells. Passenger services were suspended between Duns and St Boswells following the floodings of 12 and 13 August 1948 as the trackbed had been washed away between Duns and Greenlaw. Repairs were never carried out and the only traffic the line carried thereafter was freight between Greenlaw and St Boswells as well as the odd railtour. The last service on the branch ran on 16 July 1965, and the line officially closed on 19 July 1965. It is now a nice footpath.
