Owl weathervane
Owls are a fairly common emblem of educational institutes; this one is atop the former school in Berrow. See Image] for a wider view.

70s estate
This estate is in two parts: the older one was built with fenced front gardens, the newer part near the golf course is open plan, and looks out of place. Many of the houses are pebbledashed with broken seashells. Very few of the properties in Berrow have adequate provision for cars. In recent years most of the village businesses have closed: bakery, garage, shop, butchers, milk yard.

Marking the Great War
Berrow's recreation area on Barton Road now includes this octagonal seat. It is made of recycled plastic bottles and resembles wood; set into the structure are eight names of local men who fell in WWI. It was created with help from the Lottery Fund and unveiled in June, 2019. See Image] for a location view on the Village Green.

Berrow's war memorial seat
Tucked away at the top end of the Barton Road playing field is a circular seat. Within the middle is a beech sapling, which hopefully will one day provide shelter. Unusually, it is a war memorial, with names of the fallen of WWI set into the surfaces. See Image
