West door of Shapwick church
The church tower and west end were given plenty of restoration in the fifteenth century and in 1861 under the auspices of George Gilbert Scott.

Backing onto the church yard
A traditional sight: the churchyard extends right up to a farm building, with windows looking over the stones. The farm is now known as Church Farm, no less.
