Chedzoy village hall
Chedzoy is a little unusual in that the village hall is not a memorial to the fallen of WWI. It was first opened on 20th April, 1914 - a few months before the outbreak. The rector, the Rev. George Mullins, decided to donate the hall to the village in 1937 and it has since been managed by a number of elected members from the village, plus representatives from organisations operating within the village. Following a successful application for funding, the hall has benefited from expansions in 2002-3 and again in 2014, when the new spaces were carefully matched to the older style.
