Manor Road
Residential street, Bridgwater. Unlike the locals, I could smell "British Cellophane", I don't know who owns the chemical works now, but the distinctive Bridgwater smell survived Thatcher and deindustrialisation. On a good day with the wind in the right direction you could smell the factory 20km away.
