Temple, Goathurst
Also shown in http://www.geograph.org.uk/search.php?i=12315177 , and one of several ornamental features in Halswell Park. The listed building description calls this a pseudoperipteral temple, ie one "with free standing columns in the front (colonnaded portico), but the columns along the sides are engaged in the peripheral walls of the building" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoperipteral . In this case, the portico is at the far end, and the columns are Ionic. The trees in the background are along the Millwood Stream.

The Temple of Harmony
An interesting folly of 1767, built for Sir Charles Kemeys-Tynte and a replica of the first century Temple of Fortuna Virilis in Rome. It was owned for many years but ended up being used as a cattle shed in modern times. The Somerset Buildings Preservation Trust acquired it in 1993 in a poor state and retored it. The folly is now the private property of the Halswell Estate, although visits can be had on summer Sundays. Grade II* listed.
