A post office with an archway
Milverton's past is still very much part of the present: an archway to the yard will have allowed horse-drawn traffic. Also part of yesteryear is an old postbox with an enamel sign - see Image
This road is now called Fore Street but in the past was two: Faircross Street (the west end), and the first post office was located in the east end when it was known as Periwinkle Street.
