A metal stile
An iron step for a change, close to the small cemetery. The gate does not appear to lead on to a recognised footpath, so perhaps it's a local favourite.

This little field of remembrance dates from the 1950s and so it's not surprising the place looks very tidy - the monuments are still upright and readable!

The Merryfield Hall
Ilton's village hall is a nice modern facility next to the cricket ground. It boasts a main hall of 118 sq.m. and a smaller meeting room with lots of facilities. Like most of the buildings on Copse Lane its date is latter twentieth century.
