Fishing lake, Dillington
The small building at the water's edge is a pump house. Behind is the Eaglewood Park development, in which "derelict cattle pens and a silage pit have been transformed into quality, ecologically-sound offices". http://www.farmersguardian.com/story.asp?storycode=2264 This is all on the east side of Dillington Park. Dillington Estate Pond - Eaglewood Park
The pond measures about half an acre and up to 25 feet deep. Filled with several species of freshwater fish it is one of the sites used by the Ilminster Angling Association.
