The Dolphin in Silver Street
The old pub and the older church tower in proximity. Both are from the sixteenth century but the inn appears to have stopped serving food these days. A Christmas decoration spans Silver Street.

Music over the south door
St Mary's oak-fronted organ loft occupies a spot above the south door and is dated around 1900. The organ used to be in St Mary Redcliffe in Bristol in the nineteenth century.

Historic shop
Over 140 years old, the draper's shop was taken over by Richard Dyer in 1937 and continued to sell drapery until July 2014. It has now re-opened as an 'interiors' business.

Ilminster war memorial
Still wreathed after Remembrance Sunday, the memorial was designed by F. Bligh Bond and sculpted by Herbert Reed of Exeter. The memorial is made from Portland and Doulting Stone, erected in 1917 unusually. Grade II listed.
