Lodges to the big house
Two lodges guard the straight entrance path to Dillington House, some 1km to the north. The house was built in the sixteenth century (possibly on earlier structures) but remodelled in the nineteenth. It is now a residential adult education college.

The Meeting House - Ilminster
Built in 1719 as a Unitarian Chapel, the building now houses the Arts Centre and Tourist Information Centre. There is a shop, exhibition hall where concerts are held and a cafe which serves good home-cooked food at midday.
