South Petherton Community Hospital, Bernard Way, South Petherton, Somerset
The new Community Hospital at Bernard Way South Petherton was built after the old hospital had to sadly close its doors to patients following the collapse of part of the roof in the ward area. The League of Friends, local community and healthcare providers campaigned tirelessly to keep a hospital in the local area. After lots of planning and enormous amounts of hard work from everyone involved the new hospital opened for business on 6 June 2011.

Cherry Tree at Stoodham
This ornamental cherry tree was one of several on the estate.
The others have been lost to parking spaces or the weather.
