St Mary Magdalene, Taunton - south porch
The church itself dates mainly from 1514 and the porch is probably of that date. It has several stone carvings, principally Christ being crucified between the two thieves, the other figures beneath therefore being by tradition St John and Mary the Mother of Jesus (or possibly Mary Magdalene given the church's dedication).
