The Brewhouse
Located in the historic Coal Orchard area of Taunton and on the site of the old West Somerset Brewery, the Brewhouse is the largest venue in the town. Opened in 1977 it has, however, had recent financial problems and had to announce administration in 2013. The struggle to keep the theatre open is now taken up by the Taunton Theatre Association community group, who have secured a five year lease.

A bit further to Pluto
The Somerset Space Walk was created to emphasise the relative scale of our Solar System and was laid out in 1997. The Sun is a large yellow ball, 2.5 metres (8.2 ft) wide 14-ton concrete sphere, that can be found at Higher Maunsel Lock, a few miles south of Bridgwater. At the other end is this little dot in the viewing hole of this marker - Pluto. Actually, there are two sets of planets, one starting here and the other in Bridgwater, but both share the Sun.
