St John the Baptist's Church, Bishop's Castle
This is the west end of the church, framed by the lychgate. The massive tower is all that remains of the church built in 1291, the rest of the church was destroyed during the Civil War in the 17C, and was then rebuilt.

Fire Station, Church Lane, Bishop's Castle
This small fire station replaced an earlier one. The vehicle stationed here is a Dennis Sabre XL Cab 2 fire engine dating from 2003. The station is operated by Shropshire Fire & Rescue service.
