Cottages on Church Street
An inscription on the buildings says that they date from 1510. This used to accommodate a former pub, the Bell Alehouse.

Texaco Fuel Station & Tuffins Mini Mart, Church Street, Bishop's Castle, Shrops
Today, in September 2022, the Texaco fuel station remains but the convenience store is branded SPAR. There is also a post office on the site.

Church Street, Bishop's Castle
This is the lower end of the street, looking southwards, and the church tower can be seen beyond the T-junction. On the left is a timber-framed cottage, a large house with three-storey bay windows, and a terrace of houses each painted a different bright colour.
