The Cliffe at Dinham
Restaurant with rooms on Halton Lane. It was originally built in the 1850s by a local solicitor, Humphrey Salwey, as a private house and named The Cliff (with no "e"). It remained in that family's ownership until 1928. It first appears on maps as a hotel, named the Cliffe Hotel, on the 1974-88 1:2500 map, the previous 1:2500 map, dated 1968-75, still marking the house as The Cliff. It was renamed The Cliffe at Dinham following a change of ownership in 2014.
