Early C19th. The entrance bays project. Grade II listed. At one point in the not too distant past, behind the red door was a bookmaker.

85-89 Old Street, Ludlow
Late Georgian or possibly early Victorian. A carriage arch leads to a yard behind. Grade II listed. Now residential I think, but clearly at least partly in use as a shop at some point. Update: Richard Webb tells me it was a newsagents during at least the first half of the 1970s. The arch leads to Friar's Walk.

Lane's Asylum (Ludlow)
An interesting combination with stone and timber-frame, this magnificent house was built in the 16th century, with an old gate attached to the left side of it; that no longer exists by today. When I was a little kid, I really liked this building a lot when I used to pass it a lot.
