Castle Lodge, Ludlow
On Castle Square, this Elizabethan town mansion is said to have more oak panelling than any other house in England. It dates from the 13th century and was once a prison. It was rebuilt in 1580. In Tudor times it was home to Elizabeth I's Master of Requests. The privately owned house is still inhabited and was reopened to the public in 1999.

No. 12 Dinham (Ludlow)
Also nicknamed "The Croft", this 18th century house is very unpopular in Ludlow and no-one even cares to look at it. I didn't notice it until when I was having my ice-cream at a green nearby, then I looked up and saw this, and I knew it would be interesting to talk about. This was named after someone, which I forgot the name of, and what I like mostly about this house is the door detail and blocked-up window on the top centre. The three-storey house in my opinion is very brilliant, and along with the "Dinham" brothers, this is one of my most favourite Georgian buildings in Ludlow. Enough said.

Dinham (Ludlow)
A typical scene at Dinham in Ludlow, not always quiet but took this when the crowds died down. Dinham Hall Hotel is the stone building in the centre-left, and No. 11 Dinham is on the right.
