The Old Toll House, Minsterley
Yet another view of the charming Grade-II (LB1176024: https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1176024 ) Gothick dwelling, which once collected tolls on the Minsterley to Worthen turnpike. Unfortunately, the front door opens right onto the street so it must be entered or exited with care.

Holy Trinity Church, Minsterley
An unusual 17C church (1689), dedicated to the Holy Trinity and noted for its display of "maidens' garlands" (made for the funerals of young girls). The photo is taken rather close to show the skulls and bones in the decoration over the door, so unfortunately the belfry disappears off the top of the picture. The belfry does not look original, having white-painted pediments in 18C style over brown louvres. Over it is a weather-vane appropriately topped by a cross.
