Old Maize field
We walked into this field casually and put up a dozen wood pigeons, who flew noisily off like a sudden round of applause, and a few red legged partridge who amusingly decided to leg it, running until their legs were a pink blur, their little necks straining and made us all laugh out loud. Not that we could do any better, if startled while relaxing with a few friends over a snack or some nibbles...

The actual Lord's Stone
The stone used to be called The Devil's Stone until a 19th Century (?) clergyman deemed to call it The Lord's Stone. A marking on the stone, in folklore is purported to have been the Devil's Footprint.
