The 14th century church has been extended and partly rebuilt, and in 1870 it was restored. It is built in sandstone with a tile roof, and consists of a nave, a south aisle, a south porch, a chancel, and a west tower. The tower has three stages, diagonal buttresses, a stair turret at the northeast, an embattled parapet with gargoyles, and a pyramidal roof with a weathercock. The nave and chancel are in Decorated style, and the tower and south aisle are Perpendicular.
