Barker's Green is a hamlet that straggles along a quiet lane south of Aston. Apart from a few houses there is not much here other than, bizarrely, a Jewson outlet.

The Wem branch of Jewson, the builders' merchant, is located at this unlikely rural location in Barker's Green accessible only by a narrow lane. This shows how things were in 2005 Image some 16 years earlier; Jewson acquired the Build Centre chain in 2011.
