Hadnall: former station, 1998
View northward, towards Whitchurch and Crewe: ex-LNWR Crewe - Shrewsbury main line. The station was closed to passengers 2/5/60 (to goods 2/11/64), but the line remains as the North - West through route. (Cf. Image]).

Hadnall railway station (site), Shropshire
Opened in 1858 by the London & North Western Railway on the line from Crewe to Shrewsbury.
View north towards Yorton and Crewe. The station building was still extant when this image was taken but the two parallel platforms had been removed.
