Mixed fields on the edge of Baggy Moor
Depending on how the field is drained and how the grass is managed you get the kind of patterns seen here. Rush and sedge in the foreground. Two fields that are drained and well managed, followed by another which is being invaded by soft rush.

These moles just love drained moss
As the moss is drained there are worms in the moss soil. The moles find the moss soil easy to dig and so they cast mole hills in abundance.
