Upper Borth emerges from the freeze
On the first mild day following a very long freeze, Upper Borth is now firmly frost free, although the hills in the distance remain frozen up.

Winter, in the shape of very early snows, arrived over a week ago. Today the sun hasn't shown up, a cold greyness blankets all, and more snow is on the way.

Benches, Borth
Where the aged and infirm can sit and enjoy the view out over bay. And indeed watch progress on the artificial reef which is supposed to enhance the coastal defences of the town, the pile of rocks on the right being destined for the scheme.

Upper Borth in winter
Taken almost exactly a year after Image, but in very much colder conditions. The white patches on the rock faces consist of ice, formed from moisture oozing from the rocks behind.
